SOTR – Slough Town – 3 Aug -19:45

Tonight we play our last pre-season friendly travelling the short distance to Holloways Park, Windsor Road, Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, HP9 2SE  where we will meet Slough Town of the Southern League Premier Division kick-off 19:45. The ‘Rebels’ are currently ground sharing with Beaconsfield SYCOB and are hoping to move back into the ‘Town’ after planning permission has been given to construct a new community stadium.

For those who do pop along there are likely to be one or two familiar faces in the home squad. The match tonight should allow manager Gordon Bartlett and his team the opportunity to complete their final fine tuning and squad selection ahead of the commencement of the Vanarama National League 15/16 campaign on Sat (8 Aug) when Stones travel to Bath City looking for a repeat performance on  their last visit  back in December when they bagged all three points courtesy of  a late, late Joe Turner goal.
