Honours were even in this local pre-season friendly on Tuesday night.

Premier league Harrow took an early lead in the eighth minute when Jon-Barrie Bates played a one-two pass with Nelson Kumah for Bates to beat Noel Imber.

Wealdstone hit back seven minutes later when Paul McKay took a quick free kick which found Stuart Kent who hit a first time shot past Garrard to score his third goal in two games.

In the 35th minute Brian Jones was pushed in the penalty area by Jeremy Lord. Jones stepped up to take the resulting kick but was well blocked by Garrard.

The loose ball came to Stuart Kent but his effort was excellently pushed away by the home keeper at the expense of a corner. Six minutes later the ex-borough star Brian Jones made amends when his good work ended with a perfect cross for Chris Walton to slot home.

In the first minute of the second half, a Jones effort hit the side netting. Soon after, Stuart Kent attempted to lob Garrard but the impressive keeper tipped the effort over the bar. Harrow Borough equalised in the 68th minute as a Paul Adolphe cross was touched on by Darren Coleman for Nelson Kumah to push the ball past Noel Imber.

Stones were denied victory when a fine run from Lawrence Yaku ended with an excellent tackle from Darren Coleman.
