Stones face tough FA Cup away draw to Generals

In today’s draw at Wembley Stadium, Wealdstone have been handed a very  tough looking draw away to Zamaretto Premier Side Chesham United who  currently sit second in their league table with a strong record so far  this season. As is usual with the Cup, this draw has thrown up some intriguing  scenarios – first with Stones striker Danny Burnell having left Chesham  last season and scoring 4 in the previous round against Tring Athletic,  and that United’s boss Andy Leese used to joint manage Wealdstone with  Gordon Bartlett which will add a certain frisson to this fascinating  second qualifying round clash.

The match will take place at Chesham United on Saturday 25th September, KO 3pm
