Stones sign two on loan from Hornets

Wealdstone have today signed  Britt Assombalonga & Connor Smith  on loan from Championship side Watford FC. The pair will remain with Stones until January 3 2012

Assombalonga is an attacking midfield player although he is equally at home as an out and out striker. The youngster was second top goalscorer for the Hornets Academy last season and has appeared as a non -playing substitute on several occassions for the first team.

Smith, also an attacking midfield player, is an Under 19 Irish International but is best known for finishing runner-up in Sky TVs Football’s Next Star programme last year
