Stones took a side mixed with squad players, debutants and Youth players to Yeading for the Middlesex Charity Cup tie, but despite holding a strong Yeading side for well over an hour, they eventually lost 5-2, though there were plenty of benefits, not least Graeme Montgomery, Dean Clarke (both got 90 minutes and both scored) Kevin Swift , matt Gooderick and Josh Cooper also got 90 minutes, and new signings Andre Dellisier (from Staines) and Wooldrige (from Watford FC) both played a part.

There was also some useful first team experience on debut for Adegoke, Palmer, Sonuga and Francis, all from the Youth Team.
