Striker Jacob Hazel marked his return from injury with a goal

at Wealdstone on Tuesday evening –

but the hosts equalised deep into stoppage time to deny Boston United victory.

Hazel stepped off the bench to convert a 69th minute penalty, following Charlie Waller’s foul on Lenell John-Lewis, to score his first goal since March 2025.

It looked like being United’s winner – until Fela Olomola saw his effort loop beyond Dan Cameron’s dive in the fourth minute of stoppage time.

The Pilgrims looked to have made the dream start when Tom Cursons converted from close-range – but Jake Rooney was penalised for offside.

Dante Baptiste made a cracking save seven minutes before the break to divert Oisin Gallagher’s goalbound drive over the bar.

Wealdstone went even closer a minute before half-time when Terell Agyemang rattled Cameron’s back post on the angle.

Baptiste saved well to thwart Cursons after half-time, before Cameron produced a fine double save to deny Anthony Georgiou and Ashley Nathaniel-George.

Referee Declan Bourne awarded the Pilgrims a spot-kick following Waller’s clumsy foul on John-Lewis and HAZEL beat Baptiste low to the keeper’s left.

Hazel had the ball in the net again in the first minute of stoppage time – but the offside flag cut short his celebrations.

Wealdstone took full advantage when Baptiste pumped a long clearance downfield and OLOMOLA fired goalwards and saw his effort deflect wickedly off Connor Teale and gave Cameron no chance.
